Draft of My Venn Diagram

In this draft my organization was really well thought of, especially when it came to choosing what details that were important to include in each circle. In my writing process, the Organization part of the process was well followed when it came to this type of text for my poster presentation. My details were neatly placed where it was appropriate, making the text effective towards my readers. But, the Approach part of my writing process wasn't completely well done.
In this draft of my venn diagram I didn't focus on my audience as much as I should have. Initially, when you're comparing differences and similarities with a venn diagram the circles have to interconnect in order to show visually the similarities, but also show the differences as well. While presenting this venn diagram from our group's poster my professor noticed how the venn diagrams weren't interconnected as well. He explained how the purpose of the venn diagram was to visually show the similarities and differences with the circles. Since, I separated the circles it didn't accomplish the task of being able to point out these similarities and differences visually, which would make my text less effective for readers to see the similarities and differences of the two engineers.
The revision I've made for this venn diagram was having the similarities be listed in between the circles so that it shows those details listed are related to both of the majors as well. This made the venn diagram more effective since the viewers wouldn't have to work too hard in understanding what the differences and similarities of the two engineers would be. This is why the Approach part of my writing process would be important to consider in order to have your audience understand your ideas or purpose.
